Characters:-

All kinds of characters visit the station. 

But here we are looking at favourite characters to play out in video or for stills audio work .

Oddly one of the most popular has been one I originally thought was never going to work - as his look is firmly set now by the Lord of The Rings films and that be Gollum [Smegle]. 

This has proved a great character to really push the talents and confidence of a young performer, and they normally really enjoy it too.

Here is the actor who really got the idea moving though. Jon was not an obvious Gollum - who had ever thought of a 6ft + Gollum - but his version, which includes the video of shooting it was an outstanding effort and has encouraged so many to follow him with their own versions.

Characters well known in books, film or tv are obviously a good practice for young actors to learn how to build a character - but better still is to make one themselves.

This is something I really want to encourage on act4ward in the future.

SonnyBoy Skelton a 15 year old actor did this with "Kev" - he was given a basic outline and then just left to run with it.  By far the most popular video's this year - here his sidekick is 16 year old James De who much of the time had no idea what Sonny would do next!!
